I repackaged and sent (FedEx) Neato XV-11 #1 back again.  I just was notified that Neato #3 was on it's way.

To recap: Neato #1 developed a stuck left wheel after about two weeks and Neato #2 had its laser malfunction after two days.  This negative trend has been modified by how well the Neato worked (when not broken) and the fast, painless Neato Robotics Customer Service.  It has been about three business days since I ordered a warranty replacement.
